Why do most atheists try to say that their atheism isnt a religion when it's almost always of affirmative kind?

you do the i can't hear you crap when we can provide contradictory evidence. why do you think the churchs, on a much larger scale than what is done today, tried their hardest to censor people by burning books that they didn't say were "of god" it is not a religon because religon is the following of faith to base one's ideas about the universe and often build their ethics and morals around. like the church who protest the funerals of soldier. or the priest who got a bunch people to commit m suicide. it doesn't involve a positive affirmation at all. we have made no claims, you have. and it is the duty of the belivers in a hypothesis to support it with evidence, which you have failed to do so.
