I've been trying to lose 14 pounds for a while now. Can someone help me with what to eat to lose the weight?

I try to eat a lot of veggies and ingest a lot of good protein but i can't seem to lose any weight. I work out and do cardio every day. If someone could give me some good advice on a new workout or new diet i need to try please let me know..
