How to discipline a two year old who doesn't seem to CARE about anything?

WOW what a mouth full. thank you so much for sharing your 20years experience of being a nanny. It has taught us all something. My dear, my deepest concern to you. I am a discipline freeck. I will loose it totally. Well done for keeping up with it for such a long time. I'm sure you and your husband has thought of it all and tried them as well, but I think you should try to take your child to a doctor, not a GP, but maybe a psychiatrist. Not that I think that there is something wrong, but if you've tried everything and nothing works, something must be bothering her mind. I'm sure she's not impossible and 24/7, but this little tree needs bending while it's still young. She needs to embrace and learn the fact that caring is important not just to you and hubby but the world expects her to do so. I would really look into it much deeper. This behavior will drive you ensign and you are going to start with a bit of resentment or aggression towards her if it's not gonna change. I wish you guys all the luck, it really comes out of my heart. I can not imagine how frustrating it should be. GOOD LUCK TO ALL 3 OF YOU!!
