Why do feminists feel bashed, when the critics of feminism merely point out UNEQUALITIES?

and demand equality and fairness ? It doesnt make sense, isnt the definition of feminism equality ? What place do the inequalities caused in the name of feminism have in the true definition of feminism ? Plz dont say which, they have been mentioned over and over and over if you are a regular visitor.
