Does Gandhian thinking is hampering our sprite to respond terrorism strongly?

Since the independence India is considered to be Gandhi-vadi nation people of India have very much tolerance anybody can come and kill us. Doesn’t it shows our impotence? And how can we respond terrorism with Gandhivad because terrorist don’t believe in Gandhiwad ,ahimsa, satyagraha ,and uposhan ….they kept killing innocent people because they are INDIAN ….
