California Law on False Allegations of Abuse in Child Custody Cases?

I am looking for the exact law or statute regarding what I believe is only a California law. If someone brings about a false allegation of abuse during a child custody case and the allegation is investigated and proven to be false, the other parent can relinquish full rights of the child based on the malicious intent by the other parent. I've read online many places that this law exists, but only in California, but no references to the exact law or statue. If anyone can lead me in the right direction on this, that would be great. Thanks!
