What exactly are those tattoos on Rey Mysterio chest?

I read somewhere [I think in the WWE mag, not sure] that they are wings but inside the wings there is either the Aztec calendar or the Mayan calendar. I'm pretty sure it's the Aztec calendar because of his heritage.
